The world axis, the pillar with a blazing apex, the sacred mount (or castle, where gods dwell), the “divine assembly”, the enclosed sun (or the pupil of the eye), mythical creatures, variations and permutations of all these, have been prominently featured in film production company logos. Whenever present, the sky (heaven, firmament…) occupies a big portion of the image, which generally enhances its cosmic dimension. The animations given to the logos generally confirm this symbolism.
